Richard Pindani
Richard has worked in health and social care since 2004. He founded Shannon Healthcare to share that hands-on experience with care providers across England — making CQC compliance practical, achievable, and grounded in real-world care home operations.
Before launching the consultancy, Richard worked across nearly every department in care homes — from housekeeping and the kitchen to senior carer, before being promoted to manager. He later completed a Master's degree while serving as a Commissioning Support Manager, giving him insight into both frontline delivery and the wider regulatory landscape.
Richard is proud of his track record turning struggling homes around to achieve Good CQC ratings and full occupancy, and as Regional Director he supported three homes in raising their standard of care. He is passionate about outstanding care for residents and believes strong compliance creates environments where people receive truly exceptional support.
